Magic of liquid crystal glass LCG (Liquid Crystal Glass).
Developed by the company of Dietlin, has unique characteristics and revolutionary potential for use at luxury exhibitions. Although intended primarily for the watch industry and jewellery sector, this protective glass is actually able to be darkened and lightened over a preset surface. It comprises 45 different zones each of which can be controlled individually by a system of independent sequencers. Hence a logo, a panel or a window can be made to appear and disappear in positive or negative at the user’s request or by programming. All this can be done without any electronic system being visible, nor borders, nor frames which means that the ergonomics and design of this concept are perfect! At the same time, the sequencer can also control the lighting system in perfect harmony with the glass. Quite apart from allowing an infinite number of settings for the products presented in the showcase and the immediate identification of the brand or specific nature of the product, LCG glass also has a protective function, by shielding the products from view at certain times (night, closing of the exhibition, appearance of a product at a given time). Liquid Crystal Glass was for the first time revealed at the BaselWorld Watch Fair 2008. An out and out success according to Xavier Dietlin, Manager of the Company.
